Friday: Day off of work...amazing! I had a dentist appointment in the morning, then went shopping with my mama, sisters, and niece, where I spent WAY too much money, but got some super cute new clothes for school. When I got home I got ready and met up with Ben and Devin. We just hung out outside and waited for Eric, went over to Thomas's and hung out with a bunch of people, late night dinner at Taco Bell, back to Thomas's where we talked, joked, and had a good ol' time for the rest of the evening :)
Saturday: Saturday morning was spent sleeping in and hanging out with family. That night I had plans to go to a bull riding competition with my cousins and some of our girlfriends...long story short, it didn't end up happening. I headed out to Eric's instead where me, Ben, Eric, and Ryan started our adventurous night! :)
We did these weird candle things that you put in your ear and it pulls out the ear wax...gross, but so cool! Then we went to town and got some clay pigeons and shells to go shooting. We went out to eat, then to Ryan's field to shoot, it was so fun, but we all got eaten alive by mosquitoes! After shooting we went to Ryan's and got some fireworks, went back to Eric's and started a fire. It was hilarious, they got a bunch of saw dust from Eric's shop and were being "wizards" by throwing it in the fire {yeah, you wouldn't think they were 20-something year olds, huh? ;)}, it was awesome though {watch the video below, sorry it is sideways :)} After a bullet bike ride with Ben, talking around the fire with Eric's parents, star gazing, and starting to freeze our bums off, we decided to head inside for a movie. We watched Yes Man, slept, and talked before heading home. I seriously have not laughed so hard in a long time, I freakin' love those boys! :)
Sunday: Nice relaxing day spent with family, nap time, movies, good food, and beautiful weather! :)
Monday: Monday morning I went to the zoo with my family, out to lunch at Rumbi's, and shopping! :) When we got back, I took a nap and woke up to Eric calling me. I hurried and got ready and he picked me up and took me to Ben's house, we piled blankets, cushions, and pillows in the back of Eric and Ben's trucks and headed to Wal*Mart to get snacks, then off to the drive-in we went. We watched Captain America and Rise of Planet of the Apes, cuddled, laughed, talked, and pretty much just had a great night. Getting home at nearly 1:30 in the morning was sooooo worth it! :)
All in all, Labor Day weekend was amazing! Spent with some of my most favorite people, laughing until it hurt, mosquito bites, bruises, and amazing food. Very successful weekend! :)
