my weekend

what a weekend.

friday was spent in the hospital, as well as most of saturday. i came to my parents saturday and i have been in bed here since. i always thought that i would enjoy being waited on, but no, i am miserable. i'm not the type of person who enjoys when other people have to do stuff for me, it makes me feel so bad. i'm in pain. i'm tired. i'm dizzy(thank you for that one, pain medicine). but i have been so well taken care of. my parents, family, and friends have gotten me everything i needed and more. i am truly so blessed to have such amazing people in my life. it just hasn't been a very good weekend, well, until cute boy decided to text me :)

cute boy, a boy that my cousin is sort of setting me up with (one of those, you guys should hang out and see where it goes kind of things), decided to text me today of all days and ask me to hang out. well, obviously i am a little under the weather, so no movie-going with cute boy and roommate. but definitely got a we will get together another time promise and a few get to know you texts. i'm a happy girl with that one.

a few other discoveries this weekend:

i am completely obsessed with the website weheartit.

i remembered why i wanted to be a nurse again, i had some awesome nurses at the hospital.

i will never take advantage of my sleep again. okay i probably will, but i will definitely try not. REALLY not getting sleep is not fun at all.

anyway, life is good. i am slowly, but surely getting better. and i am getting better at allowing people to help me :)
