my favorite holiday, the fourth of july, independence day.

david: today has to be my favorite holiday besides christmas

jordon: i like christmas better, you don't get presents on the fourth of july

david: dude, you got your freedom.

my fourth consisted of:

waking up at 5:45 in the AM. getting ready. double  scratch that, TRIPLE checking to make sure i had everything i needed for the float and parade. hurrying up there. hooking up the float to the truck. pulling the truck to our spot in line. waiting for two hours with my volunteers for the parade to start. the parade {so fun! and exhausting}. driving the float back up to the cellar. rushing home to get ready for jordon to pick me up. jordon meeting my parents. driving around. looking at car lots and dreaming about getting a new one. meeting up with david. gator jack's. day in the park. pictures in the photobooth. running into old friends. meeting jordon's parents and brothers. nice long bullet bike ride. trying to figure out the dvd player. kisses. fireworks. naps. japanese dinner. and bed early :)

it was a great day.

*side note on the pictures: yes, I am wearing THREE different outfits, and THREE different hairstyles. they are all the same day. after the parade i was sweaty and gross, after the bullet bike ride my hair was a disaster and my make-up was donezo, so of course i showered a couple times :) don't judge.
