why worry?

today i decided i am one of the biggest worriers ever. 

things i noticed myself doing today:

1. going to turn on my heater i made sure there was absolutely nothing flammable within like a 5 feet radius.

2. before leaving the house i made sure the oven/stove was completely turned off.

3. also before leaving the house i made sure all electrical non daily-used appliances were unplugged.

4. almost every time i go out to drive i walk around my car to make sure no children/dogs/bunnies are around that i could possibly hit.

5. making sure my phone will stay charged long enough to drive to a friends and still have enough battery on the way home, just in case my car breaks down/i get in an accident/i slide off the road/i get kidnapped

6. before getting in my car i open the door (so that it turns on my car lights) and make sure no one is in my back seat.

7. run to and from my car when it's dark outside (jog more like when it's icy)

8. always check outside to see if anything is suspicious before i leave my house.

9. double check at any crossing while driving.

10. before filling my car up at a gas station i make sure that no one remotely suspicious is there before i stop.

11. lock my car doors as soon as i get inside and as soon as i get out.

plus a billion other things i do. sometimes i lie awake at night worrying about a million things, and it doesn't stop until i write it all down. maybe there is a group i can join? like you know, a Facebook group, or an anonymous worriers group. dang.
