oh, christmas tree.

me, ryan, and eric took off sunday afternoon to try and find a christmas tree for ryan's house. after a couple hours of searching for that perfect tree (you know with the "ahhhh" singing and gold shining, shimmering, splendor,  streaming on it) and freezing our tushies off we called it a day, heading home with no tree. that night we hung out at eric's with his family, watched part of ice age 3, and enjoyed the warm fireplace :)

birthday week: the real thing.

my birthday was great, i got completely spoiled. i have the best friends and family ever. on my actual birthday i got endless texts, calls, and facebook wall posts wishing me the best, i seriously am so loved! school was school, lunch with my parents was awesome, two sets of flowers sent to me in the afternoon at school was amazing, and my party was a blast! i am so blessed :)

my sister, lindsay, turned the big bad 25! :)

christopher robin (yes, that is his real name) turned 24. me, whit, and megs made him a cupcake longboard...so sweet! :)

 jake turned 22! we celebrated with yummy food, and catching up at jake and meaghan's apartment.

and eric also turned 22 :) me, ryan, and ben spent day shopping and getting ready for that night. i love shopping with them, they are hilarious. then we went to eric's house and waited for him to get back from hunting, hung out and talked with his family, opened presents, and watched open season! :) i freakin' love that boy, he has been there for me for more than almost anyone, besides family, ryan, and ariel :) he's a great guy.

my bad.

So I was going to catch up on blogging yesterday...obviously that didn't happen. I have a few spare minutes before I run off to a fireside with my roomies :)

This week has been a crazy, busy, exciting, entertaining, exhausting week. I have completely loved it. I forgot how much I love being busy. 

My first week of nannying was great, the kids are the cutest and so funny.

My first week back at school was awesome. I have great classes, great teachers, and have already met a ton of new friends.

My first week living in my new apartment has been incredible. I absolutely love my roommates, they are about the nicest, caring, most hilarious girls ever. We are already great friends!

Friday night I went on a date with a boy Jake set me up with, and Jake took my roommate. 

We made dinner, walked around campus, went bowling, then watched The Other Guys. It was a blast!

Saturday a bunch of us went sledding, then made dinner, then played games in our lounge/clubhouse, then watched Nacho Libre...it was a great day!

Soon I will get pictures up of my apartment all decorated...but here are some pictures from out Saturday.

PS I apologize for not commenting on blogs...last week was crazy. I will catch up on homework and what not and definitely catch up on everyone's blogs.

miss me?

Man, life has been crazy the last few days!

I had my first day nannying, moved into my apartment, and had my first day of classes.

LOVED it all! 

The kids are adorable, my roommates are the best, my apartment is the cutest, and I love all my classes(and the cute boys in them).

Basically life is great! I am loving every day so far :) 

I will update more later, and add some pictures in...after homework.

mystery dinner

this happened in june, but i'm sad i never blogged about it. so, i'm going to blog blog blog, bare with me. it was one of the best weekends of the semester :)

this is what went down, over the whole weekend.

friday night (june 11th) it was alex's birthday! we got together, had cake, and then watched a movie (The Others, so good). we spent a few minutes planning the next day, then went our separate ways. saturday (june 12th) i headed over to felicia and kristin's so we could all get ready together. fe was still at work so me and kristin started planning what we were going to wear, and how we were going to do our hair and make-up. when fe got off work, it all began. we spent a good 2 and half hours getting ready, while the boys got ready 10 minutes before we left haha. anyway, we went over to the boys after to pick them up and head to the dinner. we all were certain characters with certain parts, and we were all trying to figure out who killed a co-actor of ours. it ended up being deedra, who was played kristin. felicia was the only one out of 8 of us that guessed correctly by the end of dinner. after the dinner we went back to the boys, changed, and decided to go out to the sand dunes and have a bonfire. it was definitely an unforgettable night =]
